Today, Azerbaijan commemorates its martyrs with respect.
Pakistan was one of the partner countries that fully supported Azerbaijan during the war.
Qaisar Nawab, a Pakistani expert and human rights activist who mourned the martyred soldiers in the Karabakh war, made a comment to Ednews about the processes in the war. First of all, he spoke about the aggressive policy carried out by Armenia for centuries.
"The anniversary of the second Karabakh war is really a very significant day. If we look at the history, we can clearly see that the Armenian military forces violated the international law and the resolutions of the United Nations on wars and conflicts and targeted the civilian population, including women, children, the disabled, and even cattles."
Keysar Nawab also spoke about the bravery of Azerbaijani soldiers and the pragmatic steps taken by the Azerbaijani government.
"In fact, today reminds us not only of the defeat of the Armenians, but also how the human kind can sometimes be compassionate towards nature and the planet, and sometimes extremely cruel. On that day, we also witnessed that Azerbaijan showed great heroism in the war, adhering to the international charter. As a citizen of Pakistan, as well as one of those who support Azerbaijan, I am proud of today. Of course, I have always been with Azerbaijan, which is right beside of the justice."
The expert also touched on the recent provocation and violation of the ceasefire by Armenians on the border with Azerbaijan.
"I should note that recently the issue of Armenians violating the ceasefire regime and obligations of the tripartite agreement drew my attention. This is a resurgence of Armenian aggression, which is not new at all. In this regard, it is enough to recall the Khojaly genocide by looking back at history. I believe that the international community is paying attention to this and should promote that day globally."
