"We have been waiting for the news of the liberation of Fuzuli from occupation for 30 years. We were longing for that news."

Ednews reports that the President of the International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF) Umud Mirzayev said these words while talking about the liberation of the Fuzuli region from occupation on public television.

"Two years ago, on September 27, I was on the front line with Al-Jazeera Media Network, one of the world's leading media organizations. Until November 27, together with the English editorial staff of the television, we were on the front line for 2 months, day and night, in all the events. After all, we have experienced this tension for the last 30 years.

There is no greater pain than losing one's home, one loses one's memories, youth, acquaintances, friends, relatives. War is a terrible subject. The place where you find yourself in the middle of the war. We were there. Sometimes I say that although the bullets missed, we were not martyred, but inside, we were martyred. You can talk about the pain of war for hours, months, years. Many books and films can be made."

U. Mirzayev expressed his thoughts about the liberation of Fuzuli and also about Azerbaijan's victorious army:

"Today is a special day. It is the day Fuzuli was liberated from occupation. Until now, a large part of our lands has been freed from occupation. That is, Fuzuli was creating certain difficulties as a lock. Armenian military commanders like Ohanyan created barriers, mostly in 2 regions - Aghdam and Fuzuli. In fact, they had planned that the conflict would come from Fuzuil and Aghdam, and built large barriers and walls. Our victorious army liberated Fuzlu not from the point they expected, but from a completely different position. During the 44-day war, a great battle tactic was chosen under the leadership of our Commander-in-Chief."

It should be noted that today, October 17, is the anniversary of the liberation of the city of Fuzuli from the occupation of the Armenian Armed Forces.
