Today, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan will meet in Vienna Austria. It should be noted that during this month the tension between sides increased by several actions.
Eurasia Diary took the opinion of Azerbaijani military journalist and writer Rey Keremoglu.
"Without depending who in the power Armenian attitude to the Karabakh process will never change. They don't have an intention to give lands," the military journalist said.
He thinks that they planned to occupy our lands by a long-time period. Armenia is continuing the occupation of Azerbaijani lands.
"I don't have high expectation from these meetings and the activities of OSCE Minsk Group," he noted.
"Armenian side claims self-determination right and Azerbaijan claims border integrity. OSCE Minsk Group fails to make mutual understanding. That's why there is no result of the negotiation process," Keremoglu added.
He has a hope that this year we will witness the great progress in the Karabakh conflict.
"I see the progress, not within the framework of negotiation but the actions of Azerbaijani army. Azerbaijani Armed Forces have been developed very well, we have modern arms. I hope only to our forces," the military journalist told.
I think we can gain our lands by not only diplomatic way, but by the diplomatic-military way.
Most of the Azerbaijani experts consider the same way Rey Keremoglu thinks. According to the comment of Former Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Tofig Zulfigarov to Eurasia Diary, he also has no great expectation from today's talks.
