Jose Mourinho has reportedly been calling Barcelona star Neymar regularly in an attempt to bring him to Manchester United this summer.
The United boss has been trying to sell Neymar on the move by explaining how the transfer would benefit the forward's career and allow him to develop as a player.
And these phone calls between Mourinho and Neymar have been going on for weeks, according to Spanish newspaper SPORT.
Neymar has been linked with a move to Old Trafford in the past, particularly following last summer's legal troubles with the Spanish government over alleged tax evasion - he will now stand trial after losing an appeal.
The Brazilian was pictured in London recently after a difficult week in Barcelona - which featured an unconvincing win at home to Leganes following a Champions League thrashing at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain.
Barcelona's stars were handed an extended break by manager Luis Enrique, who has been under intense pressure, and Neymar took the opportunity to visit Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton.
SPORT report that Mourinho sees Neymar as a perfect fit for United with the manager concerned over the team's over-reliance on Zlatan Ibrahimovic for goals.
