Manchester United are interested in a deal to re-sign Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, according to a report in England.
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to sign the Ivory Coast international to bolster his attack in the summer transfer window.
The same article states that the Red Devils can sign Zaha in a cut-price deal given the Premier League’s most successful club is entitled to 25 percent of his sell-on free.
According to the same story, Crystal Palace value Zaha at around the £70m mark, while the Ivorian winger is on a salary thought to be worth about £6m a year.
Manchester United signed Zaha in a £10m deal in January 2013 as the forward became the final signing of Sir Alex Ferguson’s 25-year reign at Old Trafford. Zaha failed to score a goal in four appearances in all competitions between 2013 and 2015 before the former England Under-21 international was sold back to Palace.
The Eagles winger has netted 30 times in 156 games in the Premier League since his return Palace in a cut-price £3m deal in 2015, having spent the 2014-15 season on loan at Selhurst Park.
