Quarter-finals night

Sport A- A A+

Both Quarter-final matches in UEFA Champions League were held in England.

In the first match of UEFA Champions League Tottenham played against the Manchester City.

Head Referee Bjorn Kuipers gave a penalty after watching the possible handball episode with the help of VAR. However, Aguero missed the penalty because of Lloris saved it gloriously.

At the end of the second half Son Hun Min kicked a wonderful shoot after brilliant tackle.

After the match, Tottenham coach Mauricio Pochettino said: "I am happy with the performance. I am happy with the way we approached the game. The performance was very good. That is the challenge for the future: to show that level and be consistent."

Also Man. City coach Guardiola: "I feel it was so solid. Tottenham is a team who usually can create a lot of chances. We played so well on the second ball. Next week, hopefully, our fans can support us every single minute. "The result's not the best but if you want to go through in the last stage you have to make this kind of comebacks. Sometimes 1-0 is better than 0-0, as you know exactly what you have to do. We have to go out to score goals."

Liverpool beat Porto at Anfield Road with 2 goals. Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino were goal scorers.

Second league matches will be played on 17 April.
