Sport A- A A+

This night UEFA Champions League matches will be played in Amsterdam and Manchester. Both matches are considered necessary like final games.

Quarter-final rivals will be Ajax-Juventus and Manchester United-Barcelona. In terms of the importance of matches, each team is prepared to game actively.

Old Trafford will be a witness to this irreplaceable derby twelveth time.

Previous 11 matches scores are roughly equal. 3 wins on MU, 4 wins on Barcelona and 4 draws are scores of these matches.

Among the Manchester United players, Alexis Sanchez, Baily, Antonio Valencia, Darmian miss the match because of injuries, L.O'Connor will not play because of fulling card limit.

Ander Herrera, Matic and Rashford are doubtful players. It will be identified after the update of the final line-ups. In Barcelona, there is no injured and suspended player.

Barcelona head coach spoke in the press conference on match and injuries of MU: "The expectation for all the big teams is to win. It’s no different for us. United will think they can do it. Liverpool and City will fancy their chances. It’s the way it is. Every team wants to win. We’re confident. We’ve responded well to the difficult moments this season. They had injuries in Paris and it wasn’t a problem for them then! In this sort of game, the desire you have to win makes up for injuries. United’s win in Paris exemplifies that."

Ole Gunnar Solskjær, Man. United manager: "The Champions League throws up so many strange results. I think Barcelona know that more than anyone. It's not going to be decided until we've played 90 minutes in the Nou Camp. We have to perform to our best so we have a result to bring over to Barcelona. Every game is the biggest game. Of course, when you get Barcelona, with the quality of their team, we know we need to step up our game. We know we need to perform to our best levels. Which we didn't against PSG at home, the outcome of the second-leg gave payers and supporters belief."

Head Referee is Italian Gianluca Rocchi.

Ajax will be faced with Juventus that beat Atletico with the fantastic hat-trick by Cristiano Ronaldo.

In the press conference, Allegri gave his opinions about Ajax: "If Ajax is aggressive, we need to be aggressive too. We expect spaces to open up and an open match, so we have to make the most of those situations.“It’s essential that we run and run hard towards their goal, especially against this Ajax. They tend to have bursts of great intensity and that is when they become very dangerous." They are a very physical team, strong in the air and in the tackle, so that is where the game will be decided. We must have the humility and capability to defend well because that is when Ajax become vulnerable."

Erik ten Hag, Ajax coach: "We have a good midfield, we manage possession well but when we don't have it we have to be good at recovering the ball as soon as possible. Tactically, we are strong and we can field players in different positions. Juventus are an experienced team and can put different strategies into play. It is another big obstacle to overcome after Bayern and Real [Madrid]: we will play as we usually do and we will have to be good at reading the game.

In host team, Mazroui is suspended, Bande is long-time injured. Juventus cannot use from Caceres and Emre Can. On the other side, several players are doubtful such as Barzagli, Perin, and strikers Cristiano Ronaldo and Douglas Costa.

12 matches have been held between these rivals and 6 of their winners are Juventus, 4 matches finalized draws, and only 2 matches winner is Ajax.
