How is the quarter-finals calendar for today?

Sport A- A A+

UEFA Europe League Quarter-finals first leg matches begin. 4 matches will be played in today's calendar.

All matches start whistle will be blown at the same time.

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri told his opinions before the match: "I don’t know [if Hazard will play] because yesterday he had only recovery training in the gym so I didn’t see him. This morning he was tired like the other players who played 90 minutes and so I want to wait until tomorrow morning and I will decide. Slavia played on Saturday but we played Monday, I don’t know why. We need to change five or six players. We need to be careful. This is a very dangerous match for us. They are very dangerous and have scored six in two matches against Sevilla. They are dangerous, a fast team. We need to be very compact and to defend really well. On crosses, they can attack with five or six players. It’s not easy for us."

German Felix Zwayer is the head referee for night's match.

In another match, Portugal and Germany 'eagles' Benfica-Frankfurt will meet in Portugal. Portuguese team have lost last three matches to Bundesliga clubs.

Adi Hütter, Frankfurt coach: "Of course we have great self-confidence in the past few weeks, especially with the win against Inter. But to be successful tomorrow, only a really good performance helps."

Villareal and Valencia- Spanish teams will play at Estadio de la Ceramica, Villareal. This year first fixture in La Liga finalized draw, and second fixture winner is Valencia.

Marcelino García Toral, Valencia coach: "Villarreal have knocked out two very good teams and finished first in the group, as well as winning at Zenit in Russia and in Lisbon at Sporting. They have very good players and on a good day, they got four goals at FC Barcelona. We must respect the opponent as much as possible, and those who believe that we are going to find an easy eliminator move away from a realistic analysis."

Javier Calleja, Villarreal coach: "We will play with confidence because we are enjoying this competition. They start as favorites because they started out in the Champions League, and we there is no pressure of any kind on us – unlike in the Liga.”

Javier Calleja, Villarreal coach: “It is a derby, and you will have to play well to get through. It's for 180 minutes. A win gives us an advantage, but it is not everything. You have to be smart. It will be a very nice tie that the spectators will enjoy."Estadio de la Cerámica Estad. We have 18 players available; we still have a lot of injuries. [Defender] Funes Mori has some problems but he will be able to play. We have been struggling all year, but we have shown that we can separate one competition from another. In Europe, we are playing well and it has been a welcome relief for us in a season where the only joys have come thanks to this competition.”

Another expected match Arsenal-Napoli will play at gunners' stadium. According to the original statistics, Napoli never won in London- 7 matches: 2 draws, 5 losses.

Unai Emery, Arsenal manager: "I have great respect for every coach. Ancelotti is top. His career is amazing. For me, my challenge is every day and every year. All I did in my past is only for taking experience [into this game]. I need to make a new future. This match is a big match at the level we want to play. It’s a big test for us. We want to play against the best teams; Napoli is one of them. I think it’s 50-50 [as to who wins]. Napoli have a big history like us, they’re second in the table. They’re playing very well. They came from a strong group in the Champions League. They were very competitive. It’s going to be difficult for us but we have confidence. We need to be very consistent over two matches."

Napoli manager Carlo Ancelotti approached positively in the press conference: "We need to be clear on what needs to be done on the pitch: the team must know exactly what it must do when it defends and when it attacks."

Second league matches will be played on 18 April, next Thursday.
