The Belgian forward is widely expected to seal a mega move to Madrid in the coming days, after saying goodbye to Chelsea this week, Express reports.
Reports suggest that a deal has been agreed to send Hazard to Madrid for £115million, after Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich stepped in and accepted the bid on behalf of the board.
And apparently the hierarchy at Madrid are willing to give him Ronaldo’s old shirt number, rather than his familiar 10 shirt worn for Chelsea.
That number is still occupied by Luka Modric, whereas Mariano Diaz has failed to live up to the expectations that come with the seven shirt.
