Manchester United move ahead of Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester City in attempt to land James Maddison
The Leicester midfielder enjoyed a very productive first season in the Premier League, creating 100 chances for team-mates in 2018/19, more than any other player.
The Red Devils made Maddison, 22, one of their top targets after a season in which the team finished sixth in the Premier League, 32 points behind champions and rivals Manchester City, Metro reports.
And it appears the 22-year-old’s talents haven’t gone unnoticed with United making the £60million-rated Maddison their top priority, according to the Daily Record.
Speaking last month, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted he only wanted to sign players who have the right ‘work ethic’ and desire to play for Manchester United.
