Maurizio Sarri wants Juventus sign his two favourite Chelsea players

After just one year at Chelsea, Sarri has jumped ship to Serie A champions Juventus.

The Italian described his year in England as “heavy”, before admitting he missed his family and friends in his homeland.

With Massimiliano Allegri leaving the Allianz Stadium this summer, Sarri has been provided with the perfect opportunity to return to the Serie A.

And he reportedly wants to take two familiar faces back with him.

According to the Times, Jorginho and Emerson Palmieri are at the top of Sarri’s list for Juve bosses to bring in this summer.

The former Napoli manager will be commanding some of the finest talents in the game next season.

Juventus boast some of the finest players in the world, including the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala and Alex Sandro.

But Sarri is keen to add some of his more trusted aides into his squad as he targets the Italian sides first Champions League title since 1996.

Deep-lying playmaker Jorginho didn’t take long to follow Sarri to Chelsea from Napoli last summer, signing for around £50m.

But it looks like he will be on the move again to follow his manager, having also enjoyed a turbulent year in west London.

Sarri is also thought to be keen on taking left-back Emerson to Turin with him.

The Italian-Brazilian spent time with Palermo and Roma in Serie A, before signing for Chelsea in January 2018.
