Gareth Bale offered £1.2m per week by Chinese football club

Gareth Bale has reportedly received a whopping £1.2 million-a-week offer from the mega-rich Chinese Super League.

According to El Chiringuito, an unnamed club in China are prepared to double his current wages of £600,000-a-week in order to lure him to the Far East, writes ports Bible.

Over the year, Bale would earn an insane £62.4 million as part of one of the most lucrative contracts in football.

However, the club have rather cheekily tried to get him on the free and to the surprise of absolutely no-one, Real have told them where to go and so it looks like any potential deal won't be happening.

In May Bale looked to have played his final game at the Santiago Bernabeu, where Real lost 2-0 to Real Betis.

The Welshman remained on the bench throughout and after being overlooked by Zinedine Zidane, headed straight down to the tunnel at the end of the game.

Former Spurs man Bale has scored 102 goals and won 13 trophies with Los Blancos since joining in a then world-record move in 2013 but has still failed to win over the Madridistas.

He's been jeered during games and recently received abuse from supporters as he made his way into pre-season training at the Valdebebas training complex.

In a clip from AS, one fan shouts "desagradecido", which means "ungrateful" in English, as Bale drove his Audi into the facility.

Last month there was talk that Bale would have to head out on loan if he wanted to leave Madrid but his agent Jonathan Barrett re-iterated the Southampton youth product's desire to remain in the Spanish capital.

"I don't think he wants to go out on loan, " Barrett said.

"He's got a lovely life and home in Spain. I think it would take something exceptional for him to leave and loans are not on the menu."
