Khankendi, Azerbaijan – Archery competitions have officially begun today as part of the 3rd CIS Games, hosted by Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the Public Relations Department of the Restoration, Construction, and Management Service in Khankendi, Aghdara, and Khojaly districts. EDnews reports.
The tournament is taking place at the city stadium in Khankendi, featuring 40 athletes from 7 countries. Azerbaijan is represented by a team of six archers—three men and three women.
The event has drawn the participation of local residents, students from Karabakh University, and media representatives, contributing to a vibrant and supportive atmosphere.
The archery competitions will run through October 5, as athletes compete for top honors in this key event of the multi-sport games.
