The regulator of the nuclear power industry of Turkey have twice found cracks in the foundation of the Akkuyu nuclear power plant, which is being built by the Russian state corporation Rosatom.
According to the publication, the first crack was found in July 2018. After Rosatom replaced the concrete, a new crack appeared. The works on its elimination ended in September.
Rosatom reports that the construction of the Akkuyu NPP is proceeding in accordance with the schedule.
