The Iran Islamic Republic started to keep its word. After the death of Iranian top military commander Qasem Solimani's death, Iran vowed revenge for its general.
On Wednesday, Iran fired a missile at US military base in Ain Assad, Western Iraq. Iran Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) called the withdrawal of US troops from Arab states, and they will not differentiate US and Israel on this.
The event also confirmed by the US and Iran said that it has seen that some aircrafts in the base fired.
It is unclear if there have been any casualties.
"We are aware of the reports of attacks on US facilities in Iraq. The president has been briefed and is monitoring the situation closely and consulting with his national security team," White House spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham said in a statement.
"It is clear that these missiles were launched from Iran and targeted at least two Iraqi military bases hosting US military and coalition personnel" at Ain al-Asad and Arbil, the Pentagon said.
Iran took & concluded proportionate measures in self-defense under Article 51 of UN Charter targeting base from which cowardly armed attack against our citizens & senior officials were launched.

We do not seek escalation or war, but will defend ourselves against any aggression.
After the attacks, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif reacted on tweeter that Iran doesn't want an escalation of tension but we will defend ourselves from any aggression.
"So far, so good! We have the most powerful and well-equipped military anywhere in the world, by far!," US President Donald Trump said on Twitter.
All is well! Missiles launched from Iran at two military bases located in Iraq. Assessment of casualties & damages taking place now. So far, so good! We have the most powerful and well equipped military anywhere in the world, by far! I will be making a statement tomorrow morning.
