BelTA reported earlier that the price Belarus pays for Russian gas will remain at $127 per 1,000m3 in January-February.

The respective protocol was signed by Belarus and Russia on 31 December 2019. The gas price for March remains a matter of negotiations.

Supplements to the contracts on gas transit and delivery with Gazprom Transgaz Belarus were also signed to extend the contracts till 2021.

According to the signed documents, the volume of gas delivery and transit in 2020 will remain at the level of 2019. In 2019 the gas price for Belarus stayed at $127 per 1,000m3 at the border. The central state budget for the year 2020 set this parameter at last year's level.
