Saudi Arabia made an unexpected decision by halting travel to the holiest cities of Islam Mecca and Madina amid coronavirus spread to the Middle East, Aljazeera reports.
Travel to Prophet Muhammad's mosque in Medina was also suspended.
The decision came after the confirmation of the detection of coronavirus in the holy Shia city of Qom, Iran. Iran confirmed 22 death along with 141 infected people.
