North Korea has tested an successful extra-heavy, multi-shot missile in the sea of Japan. EDNews reports citing Bulgarian Military News.
It is noted that the test was conducted to once again verify the tactical and technical characteristics of the auncher, which will be delivered to the units of the Korean people’s army.
This time the test fire was led by member of the Politburo and Deputy Chairman of the Central Committee of the Labor Party of Korea, Ri Pyeong Chol, as well as senior officials of the military industry department of the Central Committee of the Labor Party.
Earlier, the Renhap Agency, citing the South Korean military command, reported that Pyongyang launched two short-range ballistic missiles in the direction of the Sea of Japan on Sunday night. Missiles flew 230 km with a maximum height of 30 km.
“The shells of North Korea flew 230 kilometers at a maximum height of 30 kilometers,” the agency said.
It is noted that the launch was made at 6.10 local time from the Wonsan area. According to the agency, the military departments of South Korea and the United States are in close cooperation and analyze information on launches.
Leaders around the World criticized North Korea, which launches while “the whole world is having difficulty” because of the coronavirus, and called for an immediate end to such actions.
