Uzbekistan will allow entry for nationals of certain countries and will pay $15 to tour operators for each brought tourist into the country, EDNews.net reports citing AKIpress.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the order on urgent measures of support of tourism industry to mitigate the adverse impact of coronavirus pandemic on May 28.
The inbound tourism will be resumed gradually since June 1. The list of countries which nationals will be allowed to enter Uzbekistan will be formulated.
Tour operators and travel agencies will be paid $15 for each brought and served foreign tourist in case a tourist stays at least 5 days in the country, except for foreign nationals, who arrive on the chartered flights subject to reimbursement.
