Today is 25th anniversary of Srebrenica genocide, which is a one of the most brutal and darkest events against humanity in the history of the world, happened in eastern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina on July 11 1995.
During this period, over 8000 innocent Bosnians were subjected to ethnic cleansing by Serbian militants led by Ratko Mladic. It is in evidence that Bosnian-populated settlements were attacked and destroyed, the majority of older and young men were shooted, and the thousands of women and children were taken prisoners and tortured. Other inhuman crimes were commited against muslim Bosnians that never seen before.
All these massacres and torments were deliberately aimed at exterminating Muslims completely, along with annihilating diverse cultural and religious heritage, which serves in the favor of strengthening the foundation of one nation and one religion in the region.
Unfortunately, there had not been seen any attempt by the international community to prevent genocide in Srebrenica. The world had been silent to inhuman massacres and slaughters Bosnians faced.
It should be noted that the world remember 11 July the anniversary of Srebrenica genocide.
