British journalist Neil Watson expressed condolence to soldiers’ families who were martyred in rebuffing enemy’s attack at the Azerbaijan-Armenia border.
Neil Watson condemned Armenian aggression and call on Armenia not to rely on their armaments.
“I would say that such attack is emblematic of the arrogant aggression of the Armenian military commanders who believe that such an operation could be successful, due to the armaments with which they have been provided by third parties. Despite the new leadership in Armenia, their position remains intransigent. However, Azerbaijan army demonstrated its strength in the battle with enemy. The loss of the four young men is extremely sad, and all those who believe in the dignity of human life share the grief of their families and wish the wounded a swift recovery,” - Watson stressed.
It should be noted that there was intensive fighting between Armenian and Azerbaijan armed forces at the border of Armenian-Azerbaijan border. According to the press service of Azerbaijan Defense Ministry, Armenian armed forces attempted to seize the positions of Azerbaijan military units at the border, using heavy artillery. But, Azerbaijan army in the fierce battle involving artillery, mortars and tanks, paid retaliation to Armenian forces by launching a strong military operation. Azerbaijan army has successfully suppressed Armenian attack.
As a result of the violation of the state border of Azerbaijan by Armenian military units, four Azerbaijan soldiers were martyred and four were wounded.
