288 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Armenia, 2 more deaths

As of 11am on Wednesday, 288 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in Armenia; this was reported by the Armenian National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, EDNews.net reports citing News.am.

A total of 39,586 cases of novel coronavirus were confirmed as of Wednesday morning, of which 30,850 were cured, whereas 770 were fatal—two patients died Tuesday.

Also, 7,738 patients are currently receiving coronavirus treatment.

A total of 170,012 COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far, and 1,848 new tests were performed in the last day.

The number of Armenia’s coronavirus patients who died from other diseases has not changed and is 228. Thus, the overall death toll is 998 now.
