The European Union has imposed sanctions on 22 Belarusian officials and military officers, who the EU believes, are facilitating their country's involvement in Russia's fighting in Ukraine, Report informs, citing TASS that the relevant regulations were published today in the Official Journal of the EU.
The sanctions list includes mainly employees of the Defense Ministry and the Armed Forces of Belarus. Among them are the head of the department of international military cooperation under the Defense Ministry, Leonid Voinov, assistant to the minister of defense for ideological work, Leonid Kasinsky, the assistant to the head of the Defense Ministry for military economics and finance, Igor Mozhilovsky, and others.
