U.S officials are confident that Turkiye's objections to Finland and Sweden's accession to NATO will be resolved, said a senior U.S administration official, citing US President Joe Biden, APA reports.
He said Biden made the remarks at a special telephone briefing on the G7 leaders' meeting in Germany, as well as his upcoming visit to NATO.
"We are confident that Turkiye's fears will be allayed and that we can reach a consensus as an ally," he said.
