"Moscow will, as necessary, continue contacts with Washington regarding the Treaty on Measures for the Further Reduction and Limitation of Strategic Offensive Arms," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said in an interview with RT Arabic, Ednews reports.
“Contacts with the Americans will continue as necessary. We cannot say that we have any great results. But Moscow does not refuse dialogue, and we are open to it," Sergei Ryabkov said.
Recall that, on February 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Moscow was suspending its participation in the New START Treaty. On March 1, US State Department spokesman Ned Price announced that Washington had received an official note suspending Russia's participation in START.
