Belarus to mobilize 250 reserve officers

The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, signed a decree "On the call-up of reserve officers for military service".
 
Ednews reports that the press service of the President of Belarus released information about this.
 
"In 2023, up to 230 male citizens under the age of 27 will be drafted into the armed forces. It is also mentioned that up to 20 people who have studied in the relevant programs related to the training of reserve officers in the military department or faculties, who have the military rank of an officer and who are in the reserve, will also be called to the border service authorities," the information states.
 
The press service noted that the implementation of this decree will allow to increase the level of staffing of the armed forces and ensure high-level training of the mobilization reserve.
 
It was also emphasized that the measures provided for in the decree are held annually in the armed forces of the republic.
