Turkish ruling party blasts opposition's warnings against Erdogan

A spokesperson for the Turkish ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), Omer Celik, (pictured) condemned presidential candidate Kemal Kilicdaroglu for warning voters against backing incumbent President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, EDnews informs via Turkish media.

Celik blasted the ideology of the presidential hopeful, accusing him of aligning with the legacy of those responsible for military coups in Turkey's history.

The spokesman's comments come after Kilicdaroglu in an interview with Fox on Saturday advised voters against backing in the second round, referring to it as a sin.
