A spokesperson for the White House National Security Council clarified on Tuesday that the United States does not support attacks inside Russia, Ednews informs via DW.
Washington saw the news about a drone attack on Moscow earlier in the day and is still gathering information about the incident, the spokesperson told US media.
Russia accused Ukraine of carrying out the attack on its capital and pointed out that it has a right to take "the most severe measures" to respond. The Russian Defense Ministry also claimed that Western intelligence agencies and Kiev are planning "terrorist acts" on Russian territory.
