One person died and five were injured during a refinery blast that happened last Friday, the Islamic Republic News Agency reported on Monday.
The Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company confirmed that the incident during emergency repairs had no effect on production, which is ongoing. However, further information about the total damages is expected.
This oil refinery has a capacity of 350,000 barrels of crude oil and gas condensates per day, which represents 18% of Iran's petroleum products, local media noted.
