The issue of progress towards Ukraine's membership in the alliance, required reforms, and their implementation will be discussed at the foreign minister-level meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council to be held in Brussels, Belgium, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said during a joint press conference with Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba before the Ukraine-NATO Council, Ednews informs, citing RBC-Ukraine.
"Today we will have a historic meeting. This meeting demonstrates that Ukraine is moving closer to NATO, and during our meeting, we will also discuss how to support your path to membership," he said.
According to the NATO Secretary-General, the urgent needs of the Ukrainian army and the situation on the battlefield will also be addressed.
