South Korea intends to launch two more military spy satellites in 2024 in order to improve its monitoring of North Korea, Ednews informs via Yonhap that Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) said this.
The institution explained that two synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellites are expected to be launched n a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida in April and November.
In December, Seoul launched its first spy satellite and announced that it plans to launch four more SAR satellites by 2025.
