According to reports from the IRNA state agency of Iran, the Iranian government has granted permission for the commemoration of the anniversary of the so-called "Armenian genocide" to be held in Tehran, Ednews reports.
On April 24, the anniversary event commemorating the "Armenian genocide" took place in Tehran under the authorization of the Iranian government.
The ceremony included a march with the participation of Armenians, accompanied by slogans marking the solemn occasion.
Notable figures in attendance at the event included Armenia's ambassador to Iran, Arsen Avaghyan, and Armenian parliamentarian Ara Shaverdyan, both of whom addressed the gathered crowd.
Significantly, the event also saw the participation of minor children, underscoring the multigenerational remembrance of the historical tragedy.
