Ahmadreza Afshari, an IRGC aerospace officer deployed in Syria, has died from injuries sustained in a recent airstrike, Ednews reports citing Iranian "Mehrnews" outlet.
"He was transferred to Iran for treatment but ultimately succumbed to his wounds on Thursday", media reports said.
