The end of World War II was the beginning of the Cold War. The struggle for control of the world started between the US and the USSR, which has a strong army and large territories. History called this competition Cold War, and the world was divided into two poles.
In 2008, the war between Russia and Georgia was a major spark for the start of the second war. Russia, who did not want to discredit Georgia, who tended to the West, did not hesitate to use the war.
The Arab Spring and the Syrian conflict that started in 2011 poured fuel on fire. The series of revolutions created deep cliffs between the two sides. Although Russia could not protect its ties with North Africa, but in the Middle East she did not miss it.
Russia, which supports the local government in Syria, has given special importance to relations with Iran and Turkey. Attempts by Europe to penetrate into Ukraine have also led to Crimea's annexation and fragmentation of Ukraine.
The fragmentation of Georgia and Ukraine between the two poles reminds us of the breakdown of Korea and Vietnam. Although there were differences in the course of the events, both conflicts were caused by the collision of the interests of the two parties.
Events like the US-China trade war and the trafficking of countries with Russia have further aggravated this year's struggle. Then, let's say that the US withdrawal from the INF Treaty signed at the end of Cold War is a sign that the Second Cold War has already begun.
If we carefully follow the events of the last decade, we can observe enough clashes in the world political arena.
Russia, by forming the Eurasian Union in 2015, has begun to rebuild former USSR states under its iron wings. Taking into account the fact that the world order is different, and replacing the occupation with such alliances, we can’t tell now but what if the alliance would be developed we can call it the new USSR, if not the future of the Eurasian Union. However, it will only show how real this event will happen.
Russia's rapprochement with Iran, China and Turkey shows the strengthening of the anti-Western bloc. In contrast, the contravention of the relations between U.S and EU, and the increase of dissatisfaction among the EU members led to the weakening of the Western bloc.
The ongoing political events further aggravate the struggle between the Eurasian bloc of Russia, China and Iran, and the Western bloc of the United States and the EU, and further equate the balance of power between two blocs.
Increasing US pressure in recent years has strong reason. At the same time, Russia's large-scale military exercises are not casual. But as a result of Russia's military strength and military drills, we can say that the direction of Europe will change to the U.S again.
The activity of Russian intelligence in Europe reminds us the Cold War “spy games”. In addition, the rise of nationalist movements in Europe and the growth of the leftist powers in Europe also cause the conflict to be exacerbated. In the background of the events that have taken place, we can confirm that war has already begun.
