Keanu Reeves has revealed how he landed his Toy Story 4 role.
Last month, Buzz Lightyear actor Tom Allen announced that the Speed actor will star in "a mysterious role" in the forthcoming film.
And, speaking recently, Keanu revealed that he was actually offered the part outright, and was even allowed to add his own creative license to the character.
Right on, dude.
"I got a call which was really cool out the blue from the lovely people at Pixar and the creators of this number, this edition, or continuation of the story," he told Collider.
"They pitched the character to me and then we spoke and they allowed me to kind of riff on it.”
Toy Story 4 will hit cinemas next summer.
The film has been described as a "new beginning" for Woody and will also star a new face in the form of Forky.
Revealed in a first-look trailer earlier this month and voiced by Tony Hale (Arrested Development, The Heat), Forky is a spork that has been made into a toy — and as a result feels totally out of place.
Comedy duo Keegan-Michael Key and (Oscar nominee) Jordan Peele will also voice two new characters called Ducky and Bunny.
