The Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry revealed on Thursday that the number of Palestinians who have been killed in the enclave during the group's conflict with Israel has now reached 33,545.
According to the ministry's latest estimates, the count of individuals who have been injured in the territory since October 7 has risen to 76,094. In the past day alone, Israeli attacks in different parts of Gaza resulted in the deaths of 63 Palestinians and left 45 others wounded.
The Wall Street Journal reported that Hamas has declined the most recent proposal for a ceasefire put forth by the United States. The group has also refused to release 40 hostages, claiming that it does not possess that many elderly or female hostages who are still alive.
