Trainings on "New trends in strategic and crisis communication" for employees of state bodies and structures responsible for communications have started in Baku, EDnews informs.The trainings are being held jointly by the Media Development Agency and ADA University.
The opening ceremony was attended by the head of the Agency's office Ragsana Karimova, adviser to the vice-rector for academic affairs at ADA University Aygun Hajiyeva, and director of political research, analysis and publications at ADA University Damjan. Existing and new approaches in the field of communications were discussed during the event.
This initiative is part of a broader collaboration between the Media Development Agency and ADA University, aiming to enhance the communication skills of public sector employees. Since February 2021, the two institutions have been offering customized training programs that blend theoretical knowledge with practical experience, addressing the challenges posed by the evolving media landscape.
The current training sessions are designed to equip participants with the necessary skills to manage communications effectively during crises, ensuring timely and accurate information dissemination to the public. These efforts align with Azerbaijan’s commitment to strengthening its communication strategies and fostering a well-informed society.
