Dr Fawzi Oussedik wins the "2023 Volunteer Action Leaders Award" from His Highness Sheikh Issa Ben Ali Al Khalifa.

Ednews informs that The Good Word Society of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab Volunteers Union (one of the specialized institutions of the Arab League) honored Dr. Fawzi Oussedik, constitutional expert and international humanitarian law, by awarding him the His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Ali Prize Al Khalifa for volunteering in its thirteenth edition.

This is a reward for his efforts in the service of humanity and the protection of volunteers, particularly in the field of awareness-raising, dissemination and implementation work... of international humanitarian law in the Arab region and in as an active figure in the International Red Cross and Red Crescent.

This award aims to honor the most eminent personalities who are pioneers of voluntary work in the Arab world, in recognition of the great sacrifices they make to serve their communities and in recognition of their noble humanitarian role, as these personalities are selected according to a mechanism and objective criteria that are close to the heart of the organizing committee, in cooperation with the Union of Arab Volunteers.

This award is placed under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, Honorary President of the Good Word Society, and his unlimited support since its launch in 2011.
