The Azerbaijani delegation, headed by First Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev, is participating in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, EDnews reports, citing the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Russia.
Within the framework of the forum, Aliyev met with Fyodor Shchukin, acting head of the Republic of Dagestan, and Prime Minister Magomed Ramazanov.
"The parties discussed issues of development of trade-economic and investment cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Republic of Dagestan. Agreements on cooperation in the agricultural sector between Azerbaijani and Dagestani companies were signed," the embassy said in a statement.
