Prime Ministers of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, Ali Asadov and Abdulla Aripov, visited the bas-relief of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev located at Heydar Aliyev Square in Tashkent.
The heads of government laid flowers at the bas-relief, paying deep respect to the memory of the great leader. The ceremony served as a symbol of the strong historical ties and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, highlighting the enduring legacy of Heydar Aliyev, who played a pivotal role in shaping Azerbaijan's statehood and fostering international cooperation.
During the visit, the prime ministers exchanged views on the significance of Heydar Aliyev’s contributions to strengthening the Azerbaijani-Uzbek partnership, noting that his vision continues to guide both countries in their efforts to deepen bilateral relations. The atmosphere was marked by mutual respect and solidarity, reflecting the shared cultural and political values between the two nations.
This commemorative event was part of the official program of Ali Asadov’s visit to Uzbekistan, which includes high-level meetings aimed at expanding cooperation in areas such as trade, energy, transportation, and education.
