Problems in the Turkish economy do not affect its bilateral projects with Russia, the Russian president’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
"I do not know how this situation [in the Turkish economy] can somehow affect the development of the projects [with Russia]. So far everything is moving along," he said.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan did not ask Vladimir Putin for any assistance in connection with the problems in the Turkish economy in a recent conversation with his Russian counterpart, Peskov emphasized.
"No, there were not any requests [for assistance from Erdogan]," he said.
