"We have great hope that Azerbaijan and Armenia will sign the peace agreement. Our vision for the future is clear," Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili said following a one-on-one meeting with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Ednews reports.
Irakli Garibashvili said that our cooperation will be long-lasting: "We also discussed international issues. The situation is tense at the moment. I told President Ilham Aliyev that we always support the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan. We have great hope that Azerbaijan and Armenia will sign the peace agreement. We believe that peace in our region will serve the well-being of our people. Today, Georgia is ready to mediate in this matter and offer a friendly format. Both countries of the South Caucasus should resolve their issues."
