As a result of storms and strong winds, flooding began in Poland, which led to the destruction of buildings and the collapse of trees, according to the Gazeta.pl portal, EDnews reports, citing Izvestia.
"There was a lot of destruction in many areas of Poland. In the areas of Bochnia and Brzesko, trees were felled due to the storm, and local flooding occurred. The roofs of some buildings were also damaged," the portal said in a statement.
It was also said that residents of the Subcarpathian voivodeship were left without electricity.
"Firefighters had to remove broken branches and trees from roads, sidewalks, houses and power lines," the portal explains.
