The International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF) dispatched its observation team to scrutinize the proceedings at Fuzuli District Election Commission No. 84, Ednews reports.
The observation began with a meticulous examination of the photo stand set up at the election station. Subsequently, the team held a meeting with Ramiz Teymurov, the chairman of the election commission.
A primary focus of the observation was directed towards evaluating various aspects of the election process, including the visibility of candidates' posters participating in the upcoming presidential elections, the effectiveness of propaganda efforts, and the overall pre-election engagement of the local population.
Special attention was given to the arrangement of voting booths, ensuring a conducive environment for voters to express their views freely. Adequate spaces for displaying pre-election campaign materials on designated boards were also identified.
It is noteworthy that the IEPF observers involved in this surveillance operation maintain a neutral stance without any political affiliations.
Furthermore, it should be highlighted that the IEPF, having actively contributed to the formation of election coalitions in 2008 and 2013, has been selected for its longstanding and active involvement in elections held in various other years. The foundation continues to play a significant role in promoting transparency and fair practices within the electoral process.
