Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili will make an official visit to Finland on March 12-13, Ednews informs via Georgian media.
During the visit, the Georgian minister will hold a meeting with the President of Finland Alexander Stubb.
Darchiashvili will also meet Finland’s Foreign Affairs Minister Elina Valtonen, the European Affairs Minister Anders Adlercreutz, representatives of the Grand Committee of the Parliament for EU Affairs, the chairman of the faction of the ruling party of the Finnish Parliament, the head of the friendship group with Georgia Matthias Martinnen.
At the meetings, the officials are expected to discuss relations between Georgia and Finland and pay attention to the prospects for the development of cooperation. They are expected to touch upon the European integration of Georgia and the success achieved along this path.
