The Azerbaijan University of Languages hosted a republican student-pupil scientific conference titled “Heydar Aliyev: Founder of the Constitution and Guarantor of National Sovereignty” dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the birth of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

According to the information provided to EDnews by the university, first, bouquets of flowers were laid in front of the bust of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, and his memory was commemorated with respect.

AUL Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs Professor Hamida Aliyeva said that the author of the idea of ​​the conference, academician Kamal Abdulla, attaches special importance to preparing students for university life and developing their scientific skills. According to her, this event serves both the development of Azerbaijani education and increasing the interest of young people in science. It was noted that students and pupils from various higher and secondary schools showed great interest in the conference.

A total of 900 students and pupils applied for the conference with theses, which is an indicator of the commitment of Azerbaijani youth to science and the ideals of the National Leader.Zamin Haziyev, director of the Novruz Aslanov Jojug Marjanli village secondary school, expressed his gratitude to the university administration for the invitation and shared his thoughts on the conference. He noted that such events play an important role in students gaining new scientific knowledge and experience. The conference is of great importance in terms of conducting scientific and research work in the future.

Then the speakers -Umid Orujov, a first-year student of the Faculty of International Relations and Regional Studies of AUL, Ulkar Asgarova, a first-year student of the Faculty of Philology, Oussama Bendouda, an Algerian student studying in the Master's Department of AUL, Farida Suleymanzade, a tenth-grade student of the Ilyas Efendiyev Elite Gymnasium, Togrul Garayev, an eighth-grade student of the Yusif Mirzayev secondary school No. 44, and Nigar Anazarly and Deniz Hajily, seventh-grade students of the Arif Veliyev secondary school No. 258, shared their impressions of the conference.

The conference continued with section meetings. The participants were presented with the artistic part prepared by the students at the meetings.After the end of the section meetings, the closing ceremony of the conference was held. At the ceremony, the speeches of the section heads were listened to, the presented theses were discussed, and information about scientific works was provided.

It was emphasized in the speeches that the students and pupils participating in the event were able to demonstrate their scientific knowledge and skills at a high level. The scientific leaders stated that the conference played an important role in their development.

In conclusion, it was noted that this conference, dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the birth of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, will go down in history as an important and memorable event in terms of increasing the scientific experience of students and pupils.
