Twitter CEO Elon Musk tweeted Monday that the company is reducing the number of accounts by removing inactive ones, EDnews informs.
"We're purging accounts that have had no activity at all for several years, so you will probably see a follower count drop," said Musk on social media.
The update comes after the billionaire previously stated that the company would face significant new updates this month.
