Billionaire and owner of X, formerly known as Twitter, Elon Musk called out Microsoft-owned job-focused social media network LinkedIn for being "cringe" and claimed his company's similar product will be "cool."
"People send me LinkedIn links sometimes, but the cringe level is so high that I just can't bring myself to use it, so I ask for the resume or bio to be emailed. We will make sure that the X competitor to LinkedIn is cool," Musk tweeted on X.
The comments come just days after X announced it launched a beta version of a feature dubbed Hiring, which will initially be available only to verified X users. "Unlock early access to the X Hiring Beta — exclusively for Verified Organizations. Feature your most critical roles and organically reach millions of relevant candidates," the company said in the announcement.
