The TV programme "Chikhisha Dogru" broadcast on AZTV with the participation of experts discussed "What should be the social responsibility to avoid violation of quarantine rules?". According to EDNews.net, the discussions were attended by Sadagat Gahramanova, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children, Umud Mirzayev, President of the International Eurasia Press Fund, Rey Karimoglu, the veteran of Karabakh and journalist, Ilgar Orujov, Executive Secretary of the Public Council under the Ministry of Education, Doctor of Philosophy.
Emphasising that there are believers and non-believers in the coronavirus in Azerbaijani society today, Sadagat Gahramanova touched upon various excuses voiced by some people on the social network regarding the two-day quarantine rules:
"Azerbaijan is a unique country and our approach to the pandemic was different. We have people who do not believe in the measures and challenges taken in the country. If Mr. President and the First Lady address the people, calling for "our strength is in unity," then there must be unity in society. Irresponsible people are always looking for excuses, "said Sadagat Gahramanova.
President of the International Eurasia Press Fund Umud Mirzayev said that the government's instructions were dictated by the pandemic:
"The world is on fire today. It is very important to pay attention to social distance, rules of using masks and ways of communication. After Saturdays and Sundays, people forget everything and hug each other. The world is governed by laws, but social responsibility does not fit into any law. We have learned this through our millennial history, our family, our religious habits. The leading issue in all areas is the health of the Azerbaijani people, its provision. There are many people who do not go home for months, along with our doctors who work in the social sphere. If we do not show our support here as individuals, the effect of the work done will be very small. After a while, when the borders are opened, the importance of social responsibility will increase, "Umud Mirzayev said.
