Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Kubanychbek Omuraliev expressed confidence about the successful holding of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), Ednews informs via local media Report.
The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States told Report that holding the 6th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in Baku today is an important stage in preparation for the upcoming COP29.
"Today's forum is the beginning of such a big event as COP29, which we are all very happy about. I hope and am confident that this event will be successful. Many topics will be discussed today and the next 2-3 days including climate change, religion. The theme of today's forum shows that only through dialogue can all problems be solved, including wars, conflicts, natural disasters and so on," Omuraliev said.
In November this year Azerbaijan will host the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).
